SHERMY!!!

Below are some photos of my world famous snake, Shermy. Click on image to enlarge. Shermy made appearances at church and at an elementary school.

Shermy loves to snuggle on my hand. He also likes to play with camera straps.
Shermy also loves to play Medusa in my hair, especially when it is a French braid.
He will make very fancy patterns. Nothing like a real live snake scrunchie.
And I love how he wraps his cute little tail around things, like my braid.
These are my two favorite guys...my boyfriend
(who took many of the other pictures) and Shermy.
This was Shermy's second cage...he has since moved on up to a luxurious 70 gallon terrarium. Here he is in his "Create-a-Cage" which I highly recommend for a medium-sized corn snake as it is very easy to clean and very hard to escape from. He also loves this tree because he can hide in the bottom and bask in the top. (Lamp shown goes on top of the screen roof.)
One of my bosses was really freaked out by these photos of my boyfriend snuggling with Shermy!
Just chillin' out! Nothing is as relaxing as cuddling up with a corn snake.
I had this picture for my screen saver in work for awhile.
If you look closely, you can see a number 8 which at another angle is an infinity symbol, near Shermy's eye. Snakes forever!
Awwww!!!! How sweet!
Here's Shermy on a rare outdoor photo excursion. No, I don't let him loose, at home or away. He could slither off so quickly and I'd never be able to find him! He shed his skin just a few days after this photo was taken. I hope to eventually have some photos of him shedding, but so far he has only shed when I'm not around! A modest little snake, Shermy is.
2001 was also the Year of the Snake!!!
By the way, Shermy is a creamsicle corn snake, who was born sometime around summer 2000. I got him on October 15, 2001. He was about 3 years old when this photo was taken.
Shermy visited Church, especially for the children. It's a must to have anyone petting a reptile to use hand sanitizer before and after handling. I told the kids, "this keeps Shermy's germs off you and your germs off Shermy!"
Shermy is the world's most pettable snake!
And also most beautiful!
Everybody thinks Shermy is soooo goooorgeous! Yesssssssssssssssss!!!!
Shermy was in a little cage like this one when he was a baby. Here he is staying in a "snake hotel" while visiting my boyfriend's house.
2/29/04 snake party
A three-snake Medusa.
Here Shermy has invited his girlfriend (now his wife!) Shirley and her brother Woodstock (who belongs to my boyfriend; after seeing how cute Shermy is, he wanted a pet corn snake too!) to a snake party. Snakes know you don't need booze to party...water is just fine! Shirley was quite pale in this photo because she was going to shed soon.
Here's another picture where you can see that infinity symbol near Shermy's right eye.
Shermy's shadow dance
Shermy teaches Shirley and Woodstock how to do the cobra dance.
He has to rest after all that partying!
